Top Teacher Scholarship
Teachers! Send your students to Ozark Suzuki Institute and be eligible to win a Full Tuition Scholarship for one of your students for the 2018 Ozark Suzuki Institute! It’s easy to participate. When one of your students signs up for institute, they will be asked for your contact information. The teacher who sends the most students to the institute will be honored at Institute and will receive one Full Tuition Scholarship or two half-tuition scholarships which they can award to one or two of their students the next year.
The TOP TEACHER SCHOLARSHIP at the 2016 Ozark Suzuki Institute was awarded to cello instructor, John Finch of NWA Suzuki School of Music.
SAA Teacher Development Scholarships
For Teachers, Amount: $300 – $800, Application due: February 5
SAA Teacher Development provide tuition assistance for pedagogy study at approved Summer Institutes, workshops, or through other SAA-approved Teacher Development programs. Decisions are based primarily on merit, with consideration also given to expressed need. Awards are limited to the study of Suzuki book units and the SAA Practicum and paid directly to the Institute, university or sponsoring agency after SAA receives verification of the applicant’s acceptance into the course/program.

Student Work/Study Scholarships
Scholarship amounts will vary and will be based on funds available. To be considered for work/study scholarship assistance, students and teachers must submit the scholarship application packet received on or before February 15 including:
- Completed scholarship application
- One audition video uploaded onto YouTube (instructions for uploading files to YouTube)
A letter of recommendation from your teacher emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
Institute scholarship awardees (or a parent if the awardee is less than 18 yr. old) are required to provide 10 hours of service to OSI in the form of ushering, volunteering in the OSI store or recreation classes, or piano accompanying.
Applications will only be considered complete when all portions of the scholarship application have been received.
